The perfect presentation


Running a breeding business requires many things - one of them is a good representation of the broodmares. This is where I could support Kumlegaard Quarterhorses. By taking pictures of two of their broodmares, that truly represent their qualities.


Natasha wanted her beloved broodmares to shine and for them to be represented in the manner they deserve. She runs her breeding business with all her heart and loves her mares very much, I could absolutely feel that. These pictures are more for her than just advertisement, but of course are a great base for adertising her breeding business. But of course they shall help promoting her business.


We had a very clear vision in mind, how the pictures should look and took the patience and time it needed to get the shots, until everyone was satisfied. Sometimes this can take a while (thats how it is when working with horses) and we made sure the ladies don't get frustrated on the way. With a little bit of grazing and some goodies inbetween, they stayed as motivated as we were :-)


Of course I am always bringing my artistic vision in, when coming to a shoot, but in some cases the briefing is just very clear. Thats how it was it was in this case. We didn't need artistic close ups or abstract compositions. Simple pictures, showing the qualities of these gorgeous ladies were the job and the outcome, and everyone was satisfied with the result.
