A Medieval Dream: Caro, Doñana, and Equestrian Photography

One afternoon in a forest in southern Germany, I had the pleasure of doing a photoshoot with Caro and her Spanish PRE mare, Doñana. Caro, a talented artisan, wore a medieval leather outfit she had crafted herself. Every piece of the ensemble reflects her dedication to historical detail and craftsmanship.

Doñana, with beautiful black coat and strong presence, complemented Caro’s look perfectly. The bond between them was clear in every movement, making it a joy to capture their interaction. We chose a forest setting to create a warm but moody vibe. The afternoon light filtering through the trees added an perfect backdrop, enhancing the medieval theme. Caro posed with her horse, both on foot and mounted, showcasing her handmade attire beautifully.

This photoshoot was a wonderful blend of artistry and storytelling, capturing the unique bond between Caro and Doñana. It was an unforgettable experience, highlighting the magic that happens when creativity and passion come together.
