Capturing equine magic

It was a cold and dark day in December. Truly not the right weather for a photo shoot - if we wanted to get nice shots in nature. But this was not the plan with Irish and Nevada: We planned to shoot inside the arena, with artificial light and fog. It actually came in handy that there was barely any light. This way, our setup inside did not get disturbed.

I wanted to create a stage, filled with fog, reflecting the light and embracing the dark. a stage for the horses to shine, show their movements and character. And my plan became reality. Enjoy the results from my photo shoot with Lene Olesen and her horses Irish and Nevada.
