The spirit of a horse, through my lens

A ghost stallion, dancing through free space. Not bound to the laws of the physical universe. Free and wild, without being held back, he is enjoying the movement. He looks as being craved out of marble and yet not existing of molecules. He is truly created of the power of imagination.

Using long exposure in horse photography is not something you see typically. And yet breaking out of this rule has given me so much. I have never felt as connected with my photography as when I created this row. I feel like there is a before and after it. I had a creative vision and made it come to life. They are exactly what I wished to create. Taking the the rules I learned so intensively and intentionally decided to ignore them to create something that's truly mine feels great.
